We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our small and effective HR team. The ideal candidate will have a background in recruiting for a variety of roles and/or industries in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws.
  • Work with hiring managers to gather job requirements, develop a recruiting plan for each position, and source candidates through a variety of tools and methods.
  • Assess each candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience for each role.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives, and maintain up-to-date job descriptions and job postings.
  • Draft, extend, and negotiate offers in alignment with company policies.
  • Act as a key point of contact for both internal teams and candidates during the selection and onboarding process.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine recruiting processes to reflect industry best practices.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process to uphold our company’s reputation as a “Top Workplace” in Richmond.
  • Contribute to other recruiting and/or HR tasks and projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience recruiting for professional roles.
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, in-person interviews, career fairs, etc.) 
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the organization, from entry-level to executive.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Hands-on experience using HR software and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
