Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure company compliance with insurance regulations and federal and state-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate responses to State Department of Insurance inquiries, collaborating with internal teams.
  • Prepare and file documentation to maintain surplus lines eligibility with regulatory bodies and other federal, state and local regulatory and licensing filings.
  • Conduct research and assist in drafting compliance-related documents and contracts.
  • Coordinate form/product development for compliant workflows and speed to market operations.
  • Stay current on legal and regulatory changes and support legal audits and compliance procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relative experience.
  • Strong legal research and document preparation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with regulatory systems and filings preferred.
